Stephen Dunbar, a native of Augusta, Georgia, moved to the Coastal Empire/ Lowcountry in 2009. It was here that his passion for real estate developed. After buying and renovating his first home, he knew that becoming an advocate for others navigating the real estate market was exactly what he wanted to do. After over a decade in management in the railroad industry, he became licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina and began in his real estate career in 2019 with a goal of adding value to everyone he meets.
Along his journey, Stephen has earned other notable distinctions including KW Luxury and KW Sports and Entertainment designations, first black male to serve on the Agent Leadership Council in Hilton Head Island and serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion chairman for the market center.
With a passion for people and a spirit of service, Stephen is driven to help open the door for others, offer an environment that uplifts all he comes into contact with.

A graduate of Georgia Southern University (the ‘Real GSU’), Stephen was a double major acquiring bachelor’s degrees in both Marketing, with an emphasis in sales, and Logistics/Intermodal Transportation. He spent over fourteen years as a manager in the railroad industry, where he mastered his work ethic, communication and organizational skills—a perfect skill set needed to serve his real estate clients. Stephen, a Georgia resident, is married to his wife, Fatima and they have two daughters, Jaidyn and Victoria and fur grandboy Louie. When he isn’t pulling for the Georgia Bulldawgs, he’s probably on the grill or traveling with his family.
